A strategic, result driven entrepreneurial executive with over 20 years successful senior management experience of FMCG, OTC and diagnostic business in two of the Fortunes 500’s top performing corporations. He started his academia/career in 1991 by teaching as a visiting fellow at Wollongong University, Australia. He joined Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited in 1993 where he successfully handled trade and marketing activities and people management.
His core competencies are in Equity architecture development, Advertising, Corporate Image branding, Business Acquisition and Integration, Compliance, Distribution Management, Project Feasibility Management, Startup Company/ Division and P&L Financial Management.
Mr. Ikram is currently working as General Manager of Johnson & Johnson with wide territorial responsibilities of Pakistan & Afghanistan and is also a member of MENAP (MiddleEast, North Africa and Pakistan) management board.
Mr. Ikram holds Masters Degree from University of Wollongong, Australia and he is also a certified green belt (six sigma). His case study of “Market Segmentation and Product Positioning” was jointly authored with Associated Professor Paul Peterson and was published in Kotler’s Principle of Marketing in 1994.
He has been cited in “100 Business Leaders of Pakistan”, a publication of Manager Today.
He has also been chosen in the “100 Top performing CEO’s of Pakistan” to be launched in May 2014.
He served as Vice President of ABC (American Business Council) in 2012 and also chaired its Industry and Trade committee.
He is a member of FPCCI’s standing committee on Brand Protection and promotion, an organization that safeguards the business interest of genuine brand manufacturers and service providers in Pakistan.
